We now know that our proposal for an all through Church of England school in Burgess Hill was not successful. There were several bids for Burgess Hill none of which were approved.
It is likely there may be a further round of applications in 2017 however further details are not yet available at this time from the DfE.
14-03-2017 - Not long now!
It is expected that decisions on the Wave 12 Free School bids will be announced within the next month or so.

04-01-2017 - We have an interview!
Following on from the submission of our proposal in September 2016, we have now been invited to interview with the Department for Education later this month. This is the next step in the process where we are quizzed on our plans to bring an all-through Church of England state school to the north of Burgess Hill.
The interview will cover all aspects of the application including the need, pedagogy and demand for a Church of England school in Burgess Hill.
