OUR LOCATION
When an application for a free school is submitted to the Department of Education the school can name an area or a specific site where they wish the new school to be. Part of the Department for Education called the Education Funding Agency (EFA) then have the task of investigating this site and other suitable sites in the area.
Although the exact location of the school has yet to be decided by the DfE/EFA, the school is keen to be part of the planned 'Northern Arc' development of Burgess Hill to ensure that there are sufficient school places in that area for the new community.
The EFA will work closely with the school to find a site that is suitable.
All negotiation with landowners etc to done via the EFA.
